Why SMS-only works
Some players prefer not to install an app or log into a website. SMS-only is a first-class experience: when a game opens near you, we text you the details. You reply with one word and you're in. The web and apps are optional convenience layers.
JOIN — accept an invite
When you receive a game invite by SMS, reply JOIN to accept the most recent one, or JOIN <code> to accept a specific game. The bot confirms instantly and the host is notified.
PASS / NO — decline an invite
Not interested or busy? Reply PASS or NO to skip the most recent invite. The host won't be notified — they only see who joined.
AGREE — acknowledge the safety policy
The first time you reply JOIN (or any time we update our safety policy), the bot will send back our safety guidelines and ask you to reply AGREE. Once you do, the bot remembers your acknowledgment and immediately completes your join.
HELP — list commands
Reply HELP at any time to see the full list of SMS commands available.
STOP — unsubscribe
Reply STOP to unsubscribe from all SMS messages. This is handled automatically by Twilio and complies with US regulations. You can resubscribe anytime by replying START.
Verification by SMS
When you add a phone number to your account, we send a 4-digit code by SMS. Reply with the code to verify your number. Once verified, you'll receive game invites and updates by text.
